Do not start by replacing what works
Your Belgian arrangements, employer benefits or other existing cover are the starting point. We first ask what you have and what you want it to do. International cover should solve a real gap, not duplicate protection without a reason.
Your countries are part of the brief
Living in Brussels and spending time with family elsewhere is different from leaving Belgium permanently. We examine residence, planned treatment preferences and how each proposed policy responds. We do not assume a Belgian hospitalisation policy and an international health policy serve the same purpose.
Separate public rights from private choices
Entitlement under public healthcare arrangements and reimbursement across borders have their own rules. Your health insurance fund or the relevant national contact point can clarify those rights. Our private-insurance conversation should take that answer into account, not replace it.
A useful first conversation
Bring your current arrangements, next renewal date and preferred treatment countries. English, Dutch, French and Polish are available for the discussion. We check whether a suitable product and distribution route are available for your residence before progressing.
