Where would you choose treatment?
Warsaw, Szczecin or Krakow may be home. Your preferred specialist, relatives or future plans may be elsewhere. We begin with that practical picture, rather than assuming everyone who needs international cover calls themselves an expat.
Three different questions
What do your public entitlements provide? What does a local private arrangement include? What would you want a separate international policy to add? We keep these questions distinct and compare actual terms. A familiar provider name or a large limit does not settle them.
Planned treatment is not a travel emergency
The NFZ describes distinct procedures for planned treatment abroad. A private international policy has its own acceptance and reimbursement conditions. Neither an EHIC card nor the word worldwide should be treated as automatic authorisation for any planned private treatment.
Polish advice, international context
We can conduct the conversation in Polish and explain the practical choices without replacing the insurer's contractual wording. Polish residence or citizenship does not automatically mean every international product is available. We confirm eligibility and the permitted route before recommending.
